Although the average processing time is only 68 hours, the application must be completed 5 days in advance of travel to avoid unnecessary hassle and receive the visa on time.

The electronic Vietnamese visa is also valid for a period of 30 days, and its validity period starts on the day before the arrival date put in the online application.
Every eVisa holder must remember to use the approved visa within the validity period to avoid unnecessary issues.
Moreover, UK nationals can extend their Vietnam online visa, but it entails covering an additional extension fee. The service can be realized with the help of the local Immigration Department Office.
